UPDATED: JUN 2, 2020 Your run of the mill light Pilsner. Not quite as good as Miller lite for comparison but a nice second option if you're in a pinch. Compared to Blue, I most definitely prefer Light. Served nice and cold, and enjoy! Good summer/party beer!

UPDATED: MAY 20, 2019 12 oz. can. Pours a medium, poorly retained, off white head, minimal lacing, over a clear yellow (SRM 3) body......nose is mild malts, light hop tones.....taste is mild toasted malts, dry throughout mild hop bitter finish......mouth feel, light watery body, no alcohol, moderate carbonation. This meets the dull and uninteresting style nicely, rating below to style, above to enjoyment. BJCP 9/3/12/4/7

superspak (9600) - Greensboro, North Carolina, USA - APR 9, 2018

UPDATED: APR 14, 2018 24 ounce can into lager glass, canned on 7/26/2017. Pours crystal clear pale golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense and rocky white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of cracker, corn, white bread dough, light biscuit/pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. A bit fruity aromas, but not overwhelming. Nice and pleasant aromas with pale malt/corn and mild earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of cracker, corn, white bread dough, light biscuit/pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Very mild herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, corn, white bread dough, light biscuit/pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness of pale malt/corn and light earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with zero yeast notes present. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium-high carbonation and light body; with a very smooth, fairly bready/grainy, and slightly sticky mouthfeel that is okay. Really watery feel, but not bland on flavors. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4%. Overall this is a very solid light lager. All around good robustness of pale malt/corn and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Clean malt/corn flavors and mild earthy hop balance. Solid barley presence, not too heavy on the adjuncts. A nicely enjoyable offering for the style.

Bottle. Pours a light golden color with a fizzy small off-white head. Aroma is a bit skunky with grain notes. Sweet flavor with just a touch of balancing hops. Thin bodied. Not bad among other light lagers.
